Riyadh, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) disclosed today that it has organized a business conference call to discuss its 2020 first half financial results with investors and analysts.
Through a brief earnings presentation, SEC Management explained the company’s financial and operational performance, key highlights and developments during the first half of 2020 as well as its business outlook. SEC Management answered all participating analysts’ inquiries during a Q&A session following the presentation.
“Saudi Electricity Company is the largest electric utility in Middle East and North Africa, and one of the largest globally,” stated Fahad Al-Sudairi, SEC’s Chief Executive Officer. “The company highly values transparency and promoting governance with its investors in accordance with the best prevailing practices adopted in the national and international capital markets. The company is looking forward to keeping its wide investor base, keeping the market participants informed of its business developments, operational performance, strategy and expansion plans at all times by organizing regular meetings, conferences, and other communication platforms for analysts and investors, in addition to sustaining regular, sufficient and transparent disclosures in line with Capital Market Authority rules and regulations”, he added.
Al-Sudairi concluded that the company aims to endorse and encourage investor relations practices which are expected to reflect positively on improving governance and transparency in its business.
