The Intelligence Agency arrested three people accused of belonging to an international network for trafficking in human organs in Najaf.

The Agency stated in a statement that its detachments specialized in combating organized crime in Najaf Governorate had monitored accurate intelligence information indicating the presence of defendants who have connections with people in neighboring countries, trading in human organs (kidneys) in exchange for sums of money.

It added: ‘An intelligence work team was immediately formed and three defendants from the network were arrested after obtaining due judicial approvals. Upon investigation, they explicitly admitted their membership in an international network for trafficking in human organs, and they were referred to the competent judicial authorities.’

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression has risen to 38,098 martyrs and 87,705 injured since last October 7.

The Ministry of Health said in a statement: ‘The occupation committed 3 new massacres, of which 29 martyrs and 100 injured arrived at hospitals within 24 hours.’

For its part, the government media office in Gaza announced that the number of journalist martyrs had risen to 158 male and female journalists since October 7.

HAMAS DENIES THE ARREST OF A MOVEMENT MEMBER: FABRICATED AND BASELESS NEWS

A Hamas official denied, in a statement, ‘what some media reported over the past few days about the arrest of a member of the movement on grounds of working for Israeli intelligence, as he was asked to monitor the movement of a senior Hamas figure who moves continuously between Lebanon and Syria.”

The Hamas official referred to the circulated news that the Israeli forces intend to carry out a landing operation near the al-Masnaa area with the aim of kidnapping the Hamas leader, during his return from Damascus, considering it as ‘fabricated and baseless news.’

The official indicated that the goal is to undermine the movement and distort its reputation, in light of the victories it has made with other resistance factions in Gaza, hoping that the media will “ensure accuracy and objectivity in conveying news and information.”

Overthrowing a gang of foreign-nationalities specialized in kidnapping foreigners in Baghdad

Federal Police forces overthrew a gang consisting of 4 people of foreign nationalities, specialized in kidnapping foreigners in Baghdad.

The Federal leadership stated in a statement that: ‘Following the receipt of intelligence information about foreign residents being kidnapped, a security team was formed to investigate, and after collecting information and expanding the search circle, the four members of the gang, who are of foreign nationalities, were arrested in Al-Shaab area in Baghdad.’

It added: ‘The force executing the duty freed two kidnapped persons who were in the grip of the gang, and the accused were referred to the competent authorities to take legal measures against them.’
