21 Projects Open for Feedback through ‘Istitlaa’ Platform

Riyadh: The National Competitiveness Center (NCC) Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa, has unveiled 21 projects concerning economic and development affairs. Collaborating with 14 government entities, the NCC is seeking input from the general public, government bodies, and the private sector to gather opinions and feedback on these projects before they receive final approval.

According to Saudi Press Agency, among the significant projects available for feedback is the 'Municipal Violations for the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu,' developed by the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. This initiative aims to establish a list of fines and penalties for municipal violations. The public can provide feedback on this project until July 8, 2025.

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture is soliciting public input on a new regulatory framework titled 'Updated Guide to Controls and Requirements for Granting Agricultural Labor Endorsement.' This framework is designed to assist beneficiaries, including service providers and agricultural practitioners, in obtaining the necessary endorsements to secure the workforce. Public consultation for this project is open until July 9, 2025.

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has launched a project called 'Municipal Requirements for a Sidewalk Occupancy Permit.' This project seeks to ensure smooth traffic flow on public sidewalks, avoid pedestrian obstruction, enhance the urban landscape, and reduce visual distortion. Feedback on this project will be accepted until July 10, 2025.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development is requesting public feedback on a project titled 'Procedural Guide for Adapting Vocational Training Programs for Persons with Disabilities.' This project aims to clarify accreditation criteria for vocational training programs tailored for people with disabilities. The consultation period for this project will end on July 17, 2025.

The Insurance Authority is inviting feedback on a project named 'Insurance Law.' The intent is to develop the insurance sector in the Kingdom by promoting stability, protecting rights, regulating competition, encouraging innovation, and enabling localization. The public consultation for this project will conclude on July 22, 2025.

The Istitlaa platform's introduction of draft regulations, by-laws, and similar projects ensures transparency in the legislative process. Istitlaa promotes public participation by allowing citizens, government agencies, and the private sector to offer insights and feedback on proposed regulations affecting the business environment.
