Mina: More than 800 participants from the Ministry of Sports' Scouts are continuing their intensive efforts to provide services to the Guests of God in Mina during Eid al-Adha for this year's Hajj season 1446 AH. These efforts include providing field services across five separate centers: the main center "Al-Rabwah," the Wadi Muhsir Center, the "Al-Mu'aisam 1 and 2" centers, and the "Operations Center."
According to Saudi Press Agency, the services offered by the Scouts include guiding pilgrims to their accommodations, assisting the elderly and people with disabilities, and managing crowds using spatial maps and smart applications. This collaboration with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and relevant authorities helps the Guests of God perform their rituals with ease and convenience.
The missions of the Ministry of Sports' scouts began early, with scout teams conducting field surveys in Mina before the pilgrims' arrival. The aim was to gather information on housing sites, landmarks, pedestrian paths, and government agency headquarters, thereby enhancing field readiness and supporting delegation and guidance plans.
These efforts represent the spirit of national service and highlight the effective role of the Ministry of Sports' scouts in supporting the system of services provided to pilgrims. This is in line with the generous directives of the wise leadership to utilize all capabilities to serve Islam and Muslims, including pilgrims and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques.
