Riyadh, Saudi Post (SPL) continues its preparations for the Hajj season 1445H with a range of services. A dedicated work period has been set, spanning two consecutive months starting between Dhu Al-Qadah 15, 1445 Hijri and ending on Muharram 15, 1446 Hijri. This effort involves mobilizing all relevant sectors to provide various services, including Hajj and Umrah parcel services, which aim to ship parcels from Makkah and Madinah to pilgrims’ home countries.
During this Hajj season, SPL will provide services to 121 government entities through the official mail service. Also, 570 employees, four SPL GO vans, 53 service and parcel transport vehicles, 21 motorcycles, and 32 scooters will be deployed in the holy sites to facilitate quick mobility. Moreover, there will be 45 points of sale in the holy sites and Makkah.
