Makkah Route Initiative Continues Providing Services to Pilgrims in Morocco

Casablanca, The Makkah Route initiative is currently active in the departure lounge at Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport in Morocco, serving pilgrims by facilitating their travel procedures to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj rituals this year, 1445 AH.

The Makkah Route initiative aims to provide top-notch services to pilgrims by assisting with their entry procedures into the Kingdom from the airports of their respective countries. Upon arrival in the Kingdom, they are received in a unique lounge for the initiative and transferred to their residences without waiting at the airport.

The Makkah Route initiative is part of the Ministry of Interior’s Pilgrim Experience Program of Saudi Vision 2030. It is implemented with several ministries, including Foreign Affairs, Health, Hajj and Umrah, Media, General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), SDAIA, the Pilgrim Experience Program, and Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority.
