Tirana: The Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, held an official meeting today with the Speaker of the Parliament of Albania, Lindita Nikolla, at the parliament’s headquarters in Tirana.
At the beginning of the session, Nikolla welcomed Sheikh Dr. Al Al-Sheikh and the accompanying delegation on the occasion of their visit to Albania and wished them a pleasant stay. She noted that the visit underscores the depth of the relations and the efforts to boost them, particularly at the parliamentary level, for the benefit of the two countries and their people.
The speaker of the Albanian parliament expressed her deep gratitude for the substantial support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Albania in development projects that contribute to enhancing various vital sectors. She stressed the importance of agreements signed between the two countries as a strong foundation for supporting Saudi-Albanian relations.

He pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is undergoing a significant development phase under the wise leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, through the Saudi Vision 2030.
During the talks, the two sides discussed cooperation between the Shura Council and the Albanian Parliament, the importance of activating the crucial role of parliamentary friendship committees, and several issues of mutual interest.
