Typhoon Yagi Leaves 24 Dead and 299 Injured in Vietnam

Typhoon Yagi, which recently hit various regions in northern Vietnam, has left 24 people dead and 299 injured.

The Vietnamese government has said more flooding from the storm, which is the strongest in Asia this year, is possible.

Typhoon Yagi caused power and communication outages in several areas, more so in Quang Ninh and Hai Phong, and killed four people on the southern Chinese island of Hainan, according to the latest update from local authorities.
