-The Saudi U20 football national team made an ideal start in the 2025 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, defeating their Palestinian counterpart 1-0 in a match held on Saturday at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Abha.
Both teams performed evenly from the start of the match until Saudi player Talal Haji scored the only goal in the 57th minute.
The Saudi U20 team is hosting Group D of the qualifying tournament for the 2025 U20 AFC Asian Cup in Abha, alongside Australia, Palestine, Afghanistan, and Macau. In their second match, the Saudi team will face Afghanistan next Wednesday.
