CST Invites the Public to Vote for Saudi Projects Participating in the 2025 WSIS


Riyadh: The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) invites the public to vote for Saudi projects competing in the 2025 World Summit on the Information Society (ITU WSIS Prizes) to support national initiatives in competing globally and to encourage digital development across various sectors.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi initiatives are participating in 18 categories aimed at recognizing the finest applications and accomplishments that have leveraged communications and technology to implement WSIS outcomes and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).



The release added that Saudi Arabia has submitted 24 national projects from 16 different governmental and private organizations. Public voting remains open until April 30, 2025, through the official ITU website.



Since the competition’s inception in 2012, Saudi Arabia has earned an impressive record of 14 awards and 38 certificates of excellence.



The annual competition, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), highlights digital projects that contribute to the development of the information society and support the achievement of sustainable development goals.
