14th Mango Festival Set to Open in Al-Qunfudhah with Prince’s Patronage

Al-Qunfudhah: Under the patronage of Governor of Makkah Region Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, the 14th Mango Festival in Al-Qunfudhah Governorate will be inaugurated by Governor Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Qabaa this Wednesday. The festival is scheduled to run for three days and aims to showcase the agricultural wealth of the region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event underscores Al-Qunfudhah's agricultural capacity, featuring 4,288 farms and over 520,000 mango trees, producing an annual yield of 52,000 tons. The festival provides a platform for farmers to promote their products while boosting the governorate's status as an agricultural and tourist center.

The festival will host a variety of activities, including guidance programs for farmers, theater performances, activities for children, and contests designed to engage visitors of all ages.
