Saudi Ambassador Joins Farewell Ceremony for Algerian Pilgrims at Algiers Airport

Algiers: The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Algeria, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Busairi, took part in a ceremony at Algiers International Airport to bid farewell to the first group of Algerian pilgrims. The event was also attended by several Algerian ministers, including Youssef Belmahdi, Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, and other key figures from the transportation, communication, health, tourism, and community affairs sectors.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Ambassador Al-Busairi highlighted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's preparations for receiving pilgrims, emphasizing the comprehensive services designed to ensure their comfort and enable them to perform their rituals effectively. The ambassador noted the Kingdom's efforts to enhance services under the Guests of God Program, part of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative. This includes the introduction of the "Nusuk" application, which offers over 100 services that employ the latest artificial intelligence technologies to assist pilgrims.
