According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Ahmadi, in his opening remarks, stressed the importance of the event and its role as a key enabler for fostering growth in the industrial sector and building quality partnerships among the sectors represented at the exhibition. He noted that the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, in coordination with other government entities, is working to establish effective partnerships with the private sector.

Al-Ahmadi highlighted that the National Industrial Strategy identified 15 key enablers, organized under
four main pillars: the integration and resilience of supply chains, enhancement of the industrial legislative environment, expansion of exports and market access, and the promotion of research, development, and innovation. The enablers include more than 136 initiatives currently being implemented by various government entities.

For his part, Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd chairman Prince Saud bin Turki bin Faisal Al Saud emphasized that Riyadh International Industry Week 2025 continues the ministry’s efforts to highlight investment opportunities and strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a regional industrial hub. He added that this year’s edition aligns with the future direction of the industrial sector by offering innovative solutions that serve the future of national industry. He praised the strong support from sponsors, participants, and decision-makers.

During the opening ceremony, Prince Saud announced the signing of a strategic agreement between Riyadh Exhibitions Company and Germany’s Messe Dsseldorf
to host and organize three of the world’s most prominent industrial exhibitions: K (the world’s leading trade fair for plastics and rubber industries), INTERPACK (the foremost global event for packaging and processing), and drupa (the world’s largest printing technology exhibition). He described the agreement as a major strategic step to reinforce Saudi Arabia’s position as a regional hub for industrial innovation and a preferred destination for hosting international specialized exhibitions.
