Riyadh: Security patrols in Makkah arrested two residents for defrauding victims by claiming to perform Hajj on their behalf in exchange for money and issuing fake documents. According to Saudi Press Agency, the suspects were apprehended in front of a hotel in the holy city. Authorities seized computers, mobile telephones, and forged stamps used in the operation. Both individuals were detained, and legal procedures were taken ahead of their referral to the Public Prosecution. Public Security urged all citizens and residents to comply with Hajj regulations and report violations by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, or 999 in other regions across the Kingdom.
