Riyadh: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched a sacrificial animal distribution project for the year 1446 AH in four Yemeni governorates: Aden, Hadhramaut, Al Mahrah, and Marib. The initiative involves the distribution of 4,180 sacrificial animals and aims to benefit more than 58,500 individuals from the most needy families in these regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in Hadhramaut Governorate alone, 1,000 sacrificial animals were distributed, reaching over 14,000 individuals in the coastal and valley districts. The Undersecretary of Hadhramaut Governorate for Technical Affairs, Eng. Amin Saeed Barziq, emphasized the project's significance, noting its timely execution during Eid al-Adha. Barziq expressed appreciation for the efforts of KSrelief and its impactful humanitarian interventions across various fields within the governorate.
This project is part of the Kingdom's commitment, through KSrelief, to support needy Yemeni families, ease their economic hardships, and foster social solidarity during the Eid celebrations.
