Makkah: The Ministry of Interior has issued administrative decisions against nine individuals found in violation of Hajj regulations and instructions, specifically for transporting 111 individuals who lacked the necessary permits to perform Hajj.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Hajj security forces apprehended four expatriates and five citizens at the entrances to Makkah for their involvement in transporting these unauthorized persons. The Ministry has taken stringent measures through seasonal administrative committees against those involved, including the transporters, contributors, and the transported individuals. The penalties include prison sentences, fines reaching up to 100,000 riyals, public defamation of the transporters, and deportation of expatriates with a subsequent 10-year ban from entering the Kingdom after serving their penalties. Additionally, the Ministry is demanding the confiscation of vehicles used for transportation and imposing fines of up to 20,000 riyals on those attempting to perform Hajj without a permit.
The Ministry of Interior has urged all citizens and expatriates to comply with Hajj regulations and instructions to ensure that the Guests of God can perform their rituals in security and safety.
