Madinah: As part of its comprehensive media plan for the Hajj season, the National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has strengthened its awareness partnerships with various authorities serving pilgrims by launching field programs to educate them about weather-related risks and preventive measures, promoting safety and preparedness. The programs included broadcasting digital awareness messages and placing informational panels in key locations, including the Grand Mosque courtyards, sites across the holy areas, and along the Haramain High-Speed Railway, in cooperation with relevant partners.
According to Saudi Press Agency, these efforts aim to educate pilgrims on preventive measures against weather-related risks, including heat stress and prolonged sun exposure, thereby enhancing overall public safety during the performance of Hajj rituals.
