Al-baha: Undersecretary of Al-Baha Principality Abdulmoneim bin Yaseen Al-Shehri inaugurated the eighth edition of the Alatawelah Heritage Festival, marking the start of a new project by the Heritage Commission aimed at revitalizing the main components of the Alatawelah heritage village. The event saw attendance from several officials, visitors, and cultural heritage enthusiasts, who toured the festival's various pavilions and exhibits.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the festival features a wide range of activities celebrating the region's heritage. Local families involved in the cottage industry have set up booths to showcase traditional clothing and cuisine. Visitors can also witness live demonstrations of historic stone building techniques, as well as agriculture and harvest practices that have been passed down through generations.

A section dedicated to visual arts enriches the festival's offerings, while a museum within the village displays a vast collection of historical artifacts. The festival stage hosts poetry evenings, competitions, and performances of traditional folk arts, offering a comprehensive cultural experience for all attendees.
