Chad’s Military Attach© Engages in Counterterrorism Talks at IMCTC

Riyadh: Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) Secretary-General Maj. Gen. Pilot Mohammed Al-Moghedi received Republic of Chad Military Attach© to the Kingdom Colonel Hassan Baraka Bougar and his accompanying delegation at the coalition's headquarters in Riyadh today.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the two sides discussed topics of mutual interest related to combating terrorism and extremism. The Chadian attach© was briefed on IMCTC's key efforts and methodologies across its four main domains: ideological, media, counter-terrorism financing, and military. He also reviewed the coalition's publications, studies, and research on countering terrorism and extremism.

The delegation visited the situation assessment room, where they were introduced to the tools used to analyze and monitor terrorist groups and incidents at regional and international levels.

Al-Moghedi expressed his appreciation for the visit and commended the Republic of Chad's efforts in combating terrorism and extremism. He also reiterated the coalition's commitment to collaboration with member states in supporting counterterrorism programs and initiatives.

The Chadian military attach© praised the coalition's efforts in counterterrorism, particularly its initiatives in Chad under the coalition's Sahel program. He emphasized that coordination among member states remains a cornerstone in confronting extremist ideologies and eliminating terrorism.
