Saudi Commission for Health Specialties Engages in Global Medical Regulation Conference

Riyadh: The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) participated in the 16th International Conference on Medical Regulation (IAMRA 2025) in Ireland. Hosted by the Irish Medical Council, the conference runs from September 3 to 6 under the theme "People-focused Regulation for a Safer Global Community."

According to Saudi Press Agency, SCFHS presented a session on its approach to a sound regulatory methodology. As a national body, the commission also engaged in various workshops and held bilateral sessions to discuss strategic initiatives, including attracting international trainees for the Saudi Board programs and the mutual recognition of health qualifications.

The SCFHS pavilion attracted a large number of visitors who learned about the commission's regulatory role and its unique experience in integrating health education with healthcare delivery. Visitors also learned about SCFHS's role in registering and developing over 770,000 health practitioners and supervising the Saudi Board programs, which has graduated more than 30,000 trainees.
