Riyadh: The board of directors of the Local Organizing Committee for the AFC Asian Cup ‘Saudi Arabia 2027’ reviewed the latest updates regarding the Kingdom’s first-ever hosting of the Asian Cup. It reviewed ongoing development works at stadiums and sports facilities and direct coordination with the Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) organizing committee and the relevant entities in a manner that ensures the implementation of all preparation stages in line with the highest standards approved by the continental federation.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Local Organizing Committee chairman Yasser Al-Misehal affirmed that the committee is working tirelessly to deliver an exceptional edition worthy of the Kingdom’s standing and its ability to ensure the success of any event it hosts. He noted that they are working at full capacity in coordination with the AFC and the relevant entities to organize a comprehensive tournament that offers a distinguished experience for all stakeholders of the game, including partners, national teams, and fans.
