Mawza: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) inaugurated on Thursday a project to dig an artesian well and establish a water supply network with a solar energy system in Mawza District of Taiz Governorate, Yemen.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project aims to provide safe drinking water and improve water supplies in low-income areas, while also reducing waterborne diseases and the spread of parasites. It directly benefits 1,400 individuals and indirectly benefits 600 others.

The initiative is part of the humanitarian efforts undertaken by KSrelief to improve basic services and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, particularly in areas facing chronic water shortages.
