Gaza: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed essential relief aid yesterday to displaced persons (DPs) camps in the southern Gaza Strip affiliated with SOS Children's Villages. Such villages provide care for hundreds of children who have lost one or both parents.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the aid package included vital food baskets and infant formula packs, reflecting the ongoing humanitarian efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to alleviate suffering in the Gaza Strip. The Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, KSrelief's implementing partner, coordinated the distribution in cooperation with the SOS Villages administration to ensure the fair and orderly delivery of aid to meet the essential needs of the children and their families.
Beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude for the continuous support, emphasizing that the aid offers a new glimmer of hope amid the challenging humanitarian crisis.
This intervention is part of a larger, ongoing effort. KSrelief has successfully operated an air and sea bridge, which has delivered 68 aircraft and eight ships carrying over 7,630 tons of food, medical, and shelter supplies so far. Additionally, 20 ambulances were delivered to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, along with logistical support.
KSrelief signed agreements worth over $90 million with international organizations for relief projects inside Gaza and has participated in airdrop operations with Jordan to ensure aid delivery despite crossing closures.
