Grand Mosque’s Nursery Centers Provide Continuous Care and Educational Programs During Ramadan

Makkah: The General Authority for the Care and Management of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque offers nursery centers at the Grand Mosque, creating a safe and nurturing environment for the young children of Umrah performers and worshippers. The nursery centers ensure families' comfort, allowing parents to perform their prayers and rituals with complete peace of mind throughout the blessed month of Ramadan.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the centers run carefully designed educational and recreational programs, including simplified and engaging Quran and supplication sessions, storytelling with meaningful lessons, and activities that nurture creativity and innovation. Islamic values are instilled within a secure, well-supervised setting, managed by qualified, specialized staff.

Services are offered free of charge, operating 24 hours a day throughout Ramadan, in recognition of the importance of supporting worshippers during peak periods. Children are welcomed in age-specific groups: boys aged 3 to 6 and girls aged 3 to 9. Located in the Third Saudi Expansion of the Grand Mosque, near Gates 100 and 104, the centers are easily accessible, with clear pathways, on-site guidance, and signage. Information is also available through the alharamain portal and the Grand Mosque's interactive map.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Makkah continues carrying out preventive inspection operations and safety patrols on pilgrims' accommodations and lodging facilities in the central area surrounding the Two Holy Mosques to ensure the availability of all fire safety and protection requirements during the month of Ramadan in order to enhance preventive safety for Umrah performers and visitors. Civil Defense confirmed the continued operations of support and backup centers and teams, rapid intervention units, and preventive supervision points, stressing the importance of adhering to the instructions announced through various media outlets and social media platforms to ensure safety and security.
