Yaoundé: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance is actively implementing the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Ramadan programs in Cameroon through the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Islamic Center located in Yaoundé. These initiatives are focused on providing iftar meals for those observing the fast, distributing copies of the Holy Quran and premium dates, and organizing an imam program throughout Ramadan. According to Saudi Press Agency, the center recently hosted an iftar banquet attended by Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, a representative of the Saudi Embassy in Cameroon, which saw the participation of approximately 500 beneficiaries. This event highlighted the strong diplomatic and cultural ties between Saudi Arabia and Cameroon. The programs include the distribution of 30,000 copies of the Holy Quran and 25 tons of dates, reaching around 120,000 people across various regions of Cameroon. Furthermore, the iftar program is supporting approximately 15,000 fasting individuals throughout the holy mont h, emphasizing the Ministry's commitment to aiding communities during Ramadan.
