Jeddah: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today in Jeddah with President of the Syrian Arab Republic Ahmed al-Sharaa. The discussions focused on bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation in different sectors. The leaders also addressed regional developments and coordinated efforts to manage them effectively.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting saw the participation of several high-ranking officials. From Saudi Arabia, attendees included Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of State and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, Advisor at the Royal Court Khalid Hadrawi, and Saudi Ambassador to Syria Faisal Al-Mujfel.
The Syrian delegation comprised Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al-Shaibani, Charg© d'Affaires of the Embassy in Riyadh Mohsen Mahbash, and other officials. The meeting underscored the commitment of both nations to strengthen ties and address mutual concerns within the region.
