Jazan: Jazan Region recorded the highest reading rates among the Kingdom's regions in 2025, according to data from the General Authority for Statistics, indicating growing cultural and intellectual awareness among its residents.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the data showed that 76% of the region's residents read at least one book during the year, while Jazan also led the Kingdom in newspaper website readership at 82% and magazine website readership at 74%, reflecting a strong reading culture across different formats.

This distinction coincides with the launch of Jazan Book Fair 2025, held for the first time in the region under the theme "Jazan Reads," alongside literary and educational initiatives and activities that have helped foster a culture of reading and deepen interest in knowledge.
