Riyadh: The third edition of the Hajj health and safety forum held a dialogue session yesterday on the importance of media integration among government agencies during the Hajj season and the role of awareness messaging in enhancing pilgrim safety and security.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the session highlighted the Ministry of Interior's media efforts, in coordination with various sectors, to deliver multilingual awareness messages that help raise awareness among pilgrims and visitors. The discussions underscored the importance of using digital platforms and modern media to rapidly disseminate information and address developments during the Hajj season, positioning media as a key partner in supporting security and health plans while also strengthening pilgrims' confidence in services.

The forum affirmed full coordination between media and security entities to ensure timely and accurate information for pilgrims and media outlets. It was noted that Hajj media messaging goes beyond awareness, promoting preventive education and positive behaviors to enhance safety and facilitate the performance of rituals.
