Long beach: The Saudi national jiu-jitsu team secured five medals, two gold and three bronze, during its participation in the World IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2026, held in Long Beach, California, from May 25 to 31.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi team was represented by 10 athletes competing across several age categories. The two gold medals were won by Omar Nada in the under-100 kg division. The bronze medals were claimed by Mohammed Bin Huraimel in the under-76 kg division, Elyas Banjar in the under-69 kg division, and Khalid Habab in the under-64 kg division.
