Jeddah: Jeddah will host the PFL MENA mixed martial arts championship on Friday at King Abdullah Sports City Hall as part of the 2026 season. The event is expected to feature elite fighters and emerging talents from across the region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi fighter Malik Basahel will compete in the flyweight division. He enters the tournament with an undefeated professional record of three consecutive victories, all secured by knockout or submission, and will be aiming for a fourth straight win.
The event will also mark the professional debut of Saudi fighter Hattan Alsaif. She enters the professional ranks after an impressive amateur career in which she recorded four victories without a defeat and will make her debut in front of a home crowd.
Jeddah is regarded as one of the region's leading hubs for mixed martial arts, having hosted several PFL MENA events in recent years. These events have helped showcase regional talent and support the sport's growth in the Kingdom.
