Caracas: The death toll from the two earthquakes that struck Venezuela last month has risen to 4,490 fatalities.
According to Saudi Press Agency, President of the Venezuelan National Assembly Jorge Rodrguez stated that 108 temporary camps have been established to accommodate more than 19,000 people who lost their homes as a result of the two earthquakes.
Two powerful earthquakes, measuring 7.5 and 7.2 magnitudes, struck Venezuela on June 24, followed by more than 1,000 much weaker aftershocks.
