Riyadh: President of the Lebanese Republic Joseph Aoun condemned the repeated attacks targeting Gulf countries, most recently the heinous attack against Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement today, President Aoun said the hostile acts represent blatant attempts by multiple parties not only to undermine the security and sovereignty of Saudi Arabia and the targeted countries, but also to systematically destabilize the Arabian Gulf region and keep the entire region in a state of perpetual tension and anxiety, serving agendas that wish no good for the Arab people.

President Aoun affirmed Lebanon's full solidarity with the Kingdom, all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and Jordan. He stated: "The security and stability of these countries is an integral part of Arab national security, and any infringement on the sovereignty of our brotherly nations is an infringement on Lebanon's and the Arab world's very core."
