Riyadh: Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Alibrahim met today with Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Africa Claver Gatete to discuss strengthening regional development collaboration, advancing sustainable development priorities, and accelerating progress toward the 2030 Agenda, on the sidelines of the High-Level Political Forum 2026 in New York.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting aimed to address key issues related to regional development and sustainable growth. Both parties emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to achieve the targets set for the 2030 Agenda. Discussions included strategies to enhance cooperation between nations in Africa and other regions, focusing on economic planning and sustainable initiatives.
