Riyadh: Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Alibrahim met today with Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment of Ireland Darragh O'Brien to discuss strengthening collaboration on climate action, energy, and sustainable development, and exchange views on progress toward the 2030 Agenda, on the sidelines of the High-Level Political Forum 2026 in New York.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in key areas such as renewable energy initiatives and sustainable development strategies. Both ministers emphasized the importance of joint efforts to achieve global climate goals and shared insights on their respective countries' progress and challenges.
The discussions between Alibrahim and O'Brien underscored the need for international partnerships to address the pressing issues of climate change.
