Riyadh: A hiking event organized under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport branch in Al-Baha Region concluded today, attracting more than 100 participants.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the three-day event featured workshops and awareness lectures on the fundamentals of hiking, culminating in a five-kilometer mountain trek that attracted strong participation from hiking enthusiasts and outdoor recreation lovers.

Director of the Ministry of Sport branch in Al-Baha, Bandar Al-Ghamdi, stated that the event forms part of the ministry's efforts to expand community participation in sports, encourage regular physical activity, and promote healthy lifestyles. This initiative aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to enhance the quality of life and well-being of the community.
