Riyadh: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a phone call from President Ahmed Al-Sharaa of the Syrian Arab Republic.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Syrian president reiterated his country's condemnation of the attempted targeting of oil facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by Iran-backed militias in Iraq. He affirmed Syria's support for Saudi Arabia's security and sovereignty.

The call also focused on reviewing relations and exploring ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries. Additionally, they discussed regional and international developments, along with ongoing efforts to de-escalate tensions and improve security and stability in the region.
