Riyadh: Saudi club Team Falcons topped the Club Championship standings at the Esports World Cup 2026 after its 15-year-old Chilean player Jaime "Craime" Bustos won the Street Fighter 6 title, becoming the youngest champion in the tournament's history.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the victory marks Team Falcons' first title at this year's Esports World Cup and comes at a decisive stage for the club, which won the Club Championship in the past two editions. The win raised the club's tally to 1,000 points, placing it at the top of the standings at the close of Saturday's competitions.

Craime defeated veteran Japanese player Hibiki, 30, the oldest competitor among the top eight, 5-2 in the grand final. After losing only one match in the group stage, he advanced to the knockout rounds, overcoming EVO 2026 champion "MenaRD" 5-3 in the quarterfinals and EVO Japan 2026 champion "Yamaguchi" in the semifinals. In addition to the title, Craime earned USD 250,000 in prize money and qualification for Capcom Cup 13.

With eight of the 12 tournaments remaining, Team Falcons is well positioned to pursue a third consecutive Club Championship title, and could extend its lead before the end of the weekend as one of the top contenders in the Call of Duty: Warzone Resurgence Series Championship.
