Riyadh: Aseer Municipality is continuing work on the road humanization project along Al-Mahala and Prince Sultan roads in Abha, planting more than 1,400 poinciana and jacaranda trees as part of its efforts to enhance the city's tourist appeal, upgrade the urban landscape, and create more beautiful and sustainable urban environments that enrich the visitor experience and support Abha's growing status as one of Saudi Arabia's most prominent tourist destinations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the municipality said the project aims to upgrade public spaces and transform them into attractive, safe urban environments by increasing vegetation cover, improving air quality, providing shade, and enhancing the walking and commuting experience.

The project also includes the construction of a dedicated cycling path along Al-Mahala Road to support sustainable transportation, encourage physical activity, and enhance the quality of the city's recreational and public facilities.
