Al-baha: Two workshops on the making of the Holy Kaaba's Kiswah and the art of calligraphic composition were held in Al-Baha, attracting calligraphers and Arabic calligraphy enthusiasts.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the first workshop was presented by Kiswah calligrapher Mukhtar Alam, who explored the stages of producing the Holy Kaaba's Kiswah. This workshop provided attendees with insights into the intricate process involved in creating the sacred covering, highlighting the craftsmanship and dedication required.

The second workshop, led by calligrapher Zaki Al-Hashimi, focused on the artistic principles of calligraphic composition, specifically in the Naskh and Thuluth scripts. Participants were engaged in learning about the structural elements and flow that define these traditional styles, gaining a deeper appreciation for the artistry involved in calligraphy.
