Riyadh: The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), an Aramco initiative, has opened registration for the eighth edition of Ithra Design Challenges. This six-day design hackathon will take place as part of Ithra Design Week from November 16 to 21 at Ithra.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event is part of Ithra's efforts to empower talent to develop content and industries that support the creative economy and enrich the cultural landscape. It aims to expand opportunities for collaboration within a framework of high-quality creative work.

The program features four tracks: Urban Spaces, Product Design, Visual Communication, and Global Impact. Each challenge will bring together 20 to 30 participants, who can take part individually or in teams, engaging in a creative experience supported by the challenge partners.

Participants will engage in an intensive schedule of workshops and talks and receive the tools to address their challenges and develop innovative solutions. Registration is open until October 24 via the challenges page on the Ithra website.
