The ministry of municipalities and housing carried out more than 180 development programs in partnership with the non-profit sector during the first half of 2026:rofit sector during the first half of 2026, and established and empowered over 85 non-profit organizations, with capacity-building and developmental programs reaching more than 112,000 beneficiaries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry stated that empowering these non-profit organizations aims to enhance their institutional readiness, efficiency, and long-term sustainability, expanding their operational role across municipal and housing domains.

Targeted programs spanned several core developmental tracks: housing services, neighborhood centers, urban development, and services for the dignified care of the deceased, all designed to foster sustainable development and improve the overall quality of life.

The ministry noted that reaching over 112,000 beneficiaries reflects the expanding scope and impact of its partnerships, reaffirming its commitment to scaling non-profit contributions to national housing and municipal development goals.
