Riyadh: Deputy Minister of Finance for International Relations Khaled Bawazier headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 76th meeting of the Committee of Deputies of Finance Ministries for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, which was held virtually today.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting participants aimed to prepare for the 126th Ministerial Meeting of the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee of the GCC countries. They also discussed the results of the 87th Meeting of the Committee of Central Bank Governors of the Council countries. Additional discussions were held on meetings related to the Customs Union Authority, the Committee of Heads and Directors of Tax Administrations of the Council countries, and the Gulf Common Market Committee, along with various other topics within the framework of the Committee's work.
The meeting concluded its work with recommendations to the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries on these topics, which will be discussed during the 126th Ministerial Meeting of the Committee.
