Saudi Industry Forum Workshops Strengthen Integration Between Education and Industrial Sector Needs

Jeddah: Workshops held alongside the final day of the second edition of the 2026 Saudi Industry Forum in Jeddah addressed specialized topics in innovation, safety and risk management, industrial training, and aligning educational outcomes with the needs of industrial sectors, helping enhance the readiness of national talent to keep pace with the sector's rapid transformations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the workshop titled 'Innovative Thinking and Designing Innovative Solutions' explored innovative thinking concepts and mechanisms for developing solutions to address challenges and transform ideas into applicable models. Meanwhile, the workshop 'Innovation in Safety, Risk Management, and Crises' examined how innovative solutions can improve safety practices, enhance risk and crisis management efficiency, and strengthen the readiness of industrial work environments.

The workshop 'Gateway to the Future: From Education to Modern Railway Manufacturing' discussed pathways to qualify educational and engineering talent and align academic programs with the needs of specialized industrial sectors, particularly modern railway manufacturing.

The workshop 'Introduction to the Industrial Sector' reviewed the sector's key foundations and the importance of training, qualification, and skills development to strengthen workforce readiness and capitalize on growing opportunities in industrial fields.

The workshop topics reflected the forum's areas of knowledge, ranging from innovation, safety, and risk management to academic and professional training. They also helped strengthen integration between education and industry, develop national talent, and support Saudi Arabia's industrial development objectives.
