Riyadh: The 12th Riyadh Economic Forum, taking place October 12 to 14, will review a study that examines strategies for transferring and localizing knowledge and expertise and their impact on organizational performance, as part of the forum's focus on developing human resources.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the study is gaining importance amid rapid global economic transformations, as knowledge localization is no longer merely a development option but a strategic necessity and a key pillar of the transition to an economy based on efficiency and productivity, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The study also directly contributes to guiding public policy by providing evidence-based implementation recommendations and a practical roadmap to improve the efficiency of knowledge transfer, empower national talent, and strengthen integration among various entities.

According to the study, the legislative and regulatory framework is a decisive factor in supporting knowledge localization and turning it into economic value by defining institutional roles, providing incentives, and protecting innovation through intellectual property legislation.
