Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the escalating terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia and its repeated, deliberate attempts to target civilians and civilian objects in Riyadh, Bish, Taif, Farasan, and Yanbu.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Bahrain described these attacks as a flagrant violation of international law, international humanitarian law, the UN Charter, and relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Bahrain's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its complete support for all measures taken by Saudi Arabia to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability and protect its citizens and residents, in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter. The ministry stressed that Saudi Arabia's security and stability are an integral part of Bahrain's own national security.

It also praised the efficiency and high readiness of the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces in confronting and thwarting these terrorist attacks, including their successful interception and destruction of a ballistic missile launched by the Houthi militia toward Riyadh.

Bahrain renewed its call on the UN Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities and take a firm stance to halt the repeated Houthi terrorist attacks targeting civilians and civilian objects in Saudi Arabia, hold those responsible accountable, and implement its relevant resolutions, including Resolution 2216.
