Riyadh:The United States extended congratulations to Saudi Arabia on the occasion of its National Day.

According to Saudi Press Agency, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a statement on Wednesday, offering heartfelt congratulations to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, and its people on their 96th National Day. This day marks the unification of the Kingdom under the leadership of King Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Rubio highlighted the historic steps taken over the past year to deepen the strategic partnership between the United States and Saudi Arabia. He mentioned that President Donald Trump and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud finalized landmark agreements aimed at expanding Saudi investment in the United States, as well as enhancing civil nuclear and defense cooperation.

In his concluding remarks, Rubio celebrated Saudi Arabia's heritage and identity, expressing optimism for a future of peace and prosperity for both nations.
