Unaizah:The National Water Company (NWC) has successfully completed a sanitation network project across several districts in Unaizah Governorate, Qassim Region, with the total cost exceeding SAR77 million. This initiative is part of NWC's broader efforts to enhance sewerage services, extend coverage in the region, and improve the quality of life for residents.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project involved the installation of sewage lines and networks in Al-Raya district, as well as parts of Al-Ramal, Al-Wafa, Al-Shifa, Al-Hamra, Al-Wahlan, and Al-Hajib districts. In total, more than 80 kilometers of sewage lines were laid, serving over 11,000 beneficiaries in the area.

NWC emphasized that the project is crucial in its mission to mitigate environmental damage, tackle visual pollution, and enhance the quality of environmental services. This development is also in response to the population growth and urban expansion in the region.

The company encouraged its customers in the serviced districts of Unaizah Governorate to utilize its offerings by requesting household sewerage connections. These services can be accessed through NWC's digital channels, including its smartphone app and website.
