Cairo:The Economic and Social Council of the Arab League, during its 118th ordinary ministerial session, commended the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) for its role in the Industrial and Commercial Institute project in Aden Governorate.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the institute is linked to the Yemeni Ministry of Economy, Industry and Investment and focuses on enhancing the skills of ministry staff, local producers, and exporters through training, workshops, and technical support. It aims to foster entrepreneurship, economic ventures, and the expansion of Yemeni exports, while also offering services to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises as well as trade and industry organizations.

Since the SDRPY's establishment, it has implemented 300 development projects and initiatives across eight major sectors, positively impacting millions of Yemenis. These sectors include education, healthcare, energy, water, transport, agriculture and fisheries, development programs, and capacity building for the Yemeni government.
