Shalayel Museum Highlights Royal Falconry Legacy at Saudi Exhibition

Riyadh:The Shalayel Museum is participating in the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026, presenting the historical connection between Saudi kings and the tradition of falconry.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the museum is showcasing rare photographs and historical artifacts that document this heritage, which spans from King Abdulaziz through Kings Saud, Faisal, Khalid, Fahd, Abdullah, to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The exhibition includes images from various hunting trips, highlights royal falcons, displays their stands, and presents personal memorabilia. It also features photographs of princes and falconers, as well as the Riyadh falcon market from the 1970s and 1985, illustrating the deep roots of falconry in Saudi society and its generational transmission.

This museum exhibition is part of the cultural experiences at the event, scheduled to be held from October 1 to 10 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham.
