Dammam:Tuwaiq Academy, in partnership with Saudi Aramco, has announced the launch of the "Madar" event, which coincides with Cybersecurity Awareness Month and the Year of Artificial Intelligence 2026.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event aims to enhance awareness of cybersecurity practices and digital risk protection, while also increasing community understanding of artificial intelligence technologies. Scheduled to take place from October 27 to 29 in Dammam, the event will offer interactive experiences that blend knowledge with practical application.
"Madar" will feature an integrated learning journey, including six interactive zones, workshops focused on digital skills, and challenges in technological innovation. The event is open to all, targeting a wide range of participants such as school and university students, graduates, employees, technology professionals, and those interested in various fields.
The event aims to introduce visitors to cybersecurity and artificial intelligence concepts in a straightforward and practical way, contributing to the development of future skills and reinforcing digital trust and responsible AI practices. Registration can be completed at ¾madar.tuwaiq.edu.sa.
Additionally, the event includes a Capture the Flag (CTF) competition in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, which will span three days and culminate with final qualifiers. Participants will tackle advanced technical challenges for a chance to win cash prizes exceeding SAR60,000. This competition seeks to inspire national talent and highlight their capacity for innovative digital solutions.
